TRUST YOUR BODY TO THE EXPERTS…
The VelaShape laser is the first FDA-cleared device for cellulite reduction using Elos technology and the first and leading FDA-cleared non-invasive body contouring treatment for circumferential reduction.
VelaShape combines four technologies that offer immense benefits in the cosmetic world: radiofrequency, infrared light, vacuum suction, and mechanical massage. These work in tandem to reduce cellulite, melt fat cells, and sculpt the body.
What Does Velashape Do?
VelaShape works on many areas of the body including thighs, buttocks, stomach, arms, and the chin. The procedure is the best for those desiring to smooth out cellulite or improve skin firmness.
Is VelaShape Treatment Right For Me?
Due to circumstances such as a hormonal imbalance, pregnancy, and genetic predisposition, many individuals are not in the shape they wish they were. Exercise and diet can only take you so far, especially when it comes to stubborn fat. If these options have not helped you get the toned body you’ve been working towards, VelaShape may be right for you.
VelaShape is not a weight loss program. VelaShape contours your body, reducing the trouble spots that diet and exercise can’t reach.
The treatment works best for people who are at a healthy weight. Patients with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of less than 30 with mild to moderate cellulite, and those who are Stage 1 or 2 on the Nurnberger-Muller Cellulite Classification Scale below are ideal candidates.

Smooth, Sexy, Dimple-Less Skin
with VelaShape. Our unique duo technology blasts away unsightly dimples while tightening skin.
No dimpling while the patient is standing or lying down, but the pinch test reveals the “orange peel” appearance.
“Orange peel” dimpling appears spontaneously when standing up, but NOT when lying down.
“Orange peel” dimpling appears spontaneously both when standing up and lying down.
VelaShape is suitable for men and women who have realistic expectations regarding the results of the procedure. You must be a non-smoker or must intend to quit before the procedure.
The treatment is not recommended for you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is also not suitable for people who have implants such as a pacemaker, automatic defibrillator, or any other electronic device.
Before the Velashape Treatment
Before the treatment, you will have a consultation with Travis Keller. Whether you are the right candidate for the treatment or not will be decided by Travis, who will review your medical conditions, medical history, medications, allergies, and family medical history to determine if you are suitable for the procedure. A physical examination will also be conducted.
Travis will ask you to stop taking blood thinners starting at least five days before the treatment. You must not have any underlying conditions that may alter the results of this treatment.
“I had a great experience at Keller Aesthetics! I went there for Velashape to address cellulite on my outer thighs. He was very knowledgeable about the procedure and answered all my questions in great detail during my consultation. I was quoted a range of session to address my issue but wound up choosing to go a few more rounds for optimal results. It was my choice and there is a max limit. I am completely happy with my results. I’d say it is 90% better, which is more than enough as I didn’t go into it expecting perfection. Procedure wise he was great and responded quickly to any momentary uncomfortability I had and adjusted the heat and suction. All in all very nice experience. On my last day I was like dang….I’m going to kind of miss our random conversations. Lol. I highly recommend. 👍👍”

Q. How does Velashape Work?
A. VelaShape uses a combination of technologies, such as infrared light, bipolar radio frequency energy, and the mechanical action of a vacuum to stimulate the growth of collagen and elastic tissue. The use of different types of energy maximizes the heating of the fat cells and connective tissue allowing a localized reduction in the skin laxity and body volume.
The vacuum aids in deeper penetration of infrared and bipolar radio frequency energy as well as stimulating a lymphatic action to carry away unwanted toxins. This deep heating of the tissues between 39 and 42 degrees celsius allows excess fat cells to release contents as well as stimulates natural collagen and elastin formation.
Q. Does Velashape hurt? Is there ay downtime?
A. One of the advantages of VelaShape is the lack of downtime or discomfort. The skin will become warm as your clinician works the device over your skin in repetitive, circular movements. Most patients describe it as a warm deep-tissue massage.
There is no downtime. Some patients may turn pink in the treated areas for several hours following, but this dissipates within a few hours. It is normal to experience a warm sensation for a few hours following your VelaShape treatment. Immediately following a VelaShape treatment you may experience a jiggle-like feeling in the treatment area; this is the effect of some fat becoming liquefied.
Q. How many treatment sessions will I need of VelaShape?
A. Typically, we perform a series of four to six 30-minute treatments spaced one to two weeks apart. VelaShape can be done during your lunch hour because there are minimal side effects, and patients can return to normal activities following their treatment session.
Q. How long does it take to see results?
A. Most patients will begin to notice improvement after 2 – 3 sessions of VelaShape with peak results at 2 months.
Q. How long do the results of the treatment last?
A. The results of the treatment vary depending on the details of each case. A balanced diet is necessary to ensure that the results are long-lasting.
Q. Will I need topical at home treatment?
A. Topical home treatment to improve skin laxity and cellulite is recommended for optimal results. Our office provides our patients with the most effective medical grade skin care to improve the look of cellulite while improving the contour and skin firmness of the skin.
Q. How much does VelaShape cost?
A. The cost for VelaShape in Atlanta varies on the number of areas being treated (such as thighs, trunk, arms, or buttocks) with four to six weekly treatments required initially, the cost will vary starting at $175 per treatment zone. Special pricing is offered when multiple areas are being treated.
Q. Will VelaShape tighten my skin?
A. VelaShape uses a proprietary combination of radio frequency and infrared light to heat fat and dermal tissue. This intensive combination of heat creates an internal wound like effect to the collagen matrix. This effect causes the body to produce dermal proteins known as collagen and elastin. The increase in these proteins will create a firming and tightening effect over the course of 4 – 6 months.
Q. Is VelaShape FDA approved?
A. Yes, Syneron Medical Ltd., a global market leader in the aesthetic medical device marketplace, announced the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance in the year of 2007.
